Here’s John McCain’s latest idiot ad where he claims, get this, that Celebrity Obama’s tax plan will ruin FAMILIES and SENIORS and FLORIST START-UP BUSINESSES. Apparently, these types all fit into the top 10-20% of earners, because everyone else will have more money under the Obama tax plan. Also, since McCain doesn’t like to admit that he’ll have to cut about 80% of Medicare under his plan in order to be anywhere near fiscal stability, maybe he, we dare say, is KILLING SENIORS. Which, come to think of it, would be an objectively good thing. [YouTube]

It looks like Obama has fangs in the last shot.

Did they sharpen Hopey’s teeth in that miserable pack of lies?
I’m freakishly strong..and I do not approve of this message…

McCain is for killing seniors? So *that* is how he’s going to get the youth vote this election.

madirishman August 8, 2008 at 3:57 pm

Of course Walnuts wants to kill off seniors. Only the rich survive. Social Darwinism, baby!

ForTheTurnstiles August 8, 2008 at 3:58 pm

Obama needs to find some hard, pipe-hitting surrogates to go down on the homes here with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

Define Walnuts! now with the Keating thing, the age thing, the bumbling incompetence thing. Frame him and shame him.

This is getting boring. It’s time to sink this tired old fool.

Well everyone knows the Republicans are the party of the poor and downtrodden. At least, that’s who they get their money from. And who fights their wars. And who they don’t let vote.

Hooray For Anything August 8, 2008 at 4:00 pm

I would laugh/snark on these kind of ads but for whatever reason, they somehow appear to be working. What’s that saying about there being a fine line between farce and tragedy?

[re=55481]ForTheTurnstiles[/re]: actually, a die-hard Republican I know said yesterday he is voting for Hopey because McCain and the low road really disgust him. He said Hopey’s staying above that really impressed him.

American Spectator August 8, 2008 at 4:08 pm

Hopey’s in a pickle now – if he is the above-the-fray candidate, he’ll have a tough time going negative and without looking like HE also employs the politics of the past. Uh-oh. And he already got his ass kicked by whitey in all the important states. If I were Hopey, I’d go to Hawaii with my paparazzi and windsurf or something.

Yeah, Obama’s all tax happy when it comes to those good ol’-fashioned middle class folks. He might even tax their private jets (I heard from some cunt that’s the only way to get around AZ).
Out of curiosity, has McCain ever said why it is that he thinks he’s more qualified to lead? Is it his experience bringing together people from all different walks of life in the Senate (you know: rich, white men and white, rich men and rich, old, white men)?

Dogless: Here’s Hopey’s problem: at this point in the campaign in ’08, Reagan trails carter by 30 pts; in ’88, Bush Sr. trails Dukakis by 17 pts; in ’04 W trails Kerry by 9 pts. Right now, it’s tied with Obama up a couple or McCain up one. Every road sign points to Dems, but likely voters aren’t following. Hopey’s got to get in the mud.

That’s a pretty good negative ad. I’d like to know where the 42,000 tax came from. I didn’t know that Obama had a record of doing ANYTHING. This negativity is really Obama’s own fault. He has refused to take up McCain’s offer to have 10 Town Hall debates. Just as he also refused to debate Hillary in the last days.

A pattern is emerging that Obama lacks the courage to face his opponents directly. That is the best way to stop these stupid negative ads against each other. It is also the best way for Obama to present who he is. Whoever that may be. I’m not sure.

Re: American Spectator
Did you ever notice that conservatives aren’t bright enough to be funny? Who is the most clever conservative comic you can think of? Yeah, me neither. They are simply incapable of non-linear thinking. Like their world view, everything needs to black or white, gray just confuses them.

Remember FOX’s attempt to have a conservative version of ‘The Daily Show’? That painful ‘Half Hour News Hour’ lasted less than one month and was absolutely painful to watch. Creativity and conservatism are by definition polar opposites.

sati demise August 8, 2008 at 5:01 pm

Hilz and McNasty would just love to get in front of a Hopey crowd. Ask Richardson, quite the adrenaline rush!

Has nothing to do with ‘courage’ or your own ‘confusion’ about the man. You might try reading his ’2′ best selling ‘books’, watch his ‘speeches’ or go read up on his ‘web site’ if you are not sure ‘who’ Obama may be.

Sati: How dare you make fun of my name!? Your penetrating wit is just TOO devastating. What do you do in your spare time? Beat up 2 year olds?

Unfortunately, listening to Obama’s BS speeches, or reading his BS books does NOT tell me who he is. When a person is in a one-on-one debate, it is not so easy to BS. I’m basically a Democrat, but I trust Obama less and less as I see more and more of him.

Reading endorsements from his 20-year-old retarded fans does not fill me with confidence either.

By the way, why do ObaManiacs feel the need to personally insult anybody who opposes or questions them in any way? That is a sign of weakness, immaturity and insecurity. Looking at the quality of Obama’s supporters on the Web, like YOU, makes me doubt that I want him or his fans hanging around the White House.
