AMERICA’S SWEETHEART, ON TEEVEE! Our favorite having-opinions-of writer, Peggy Noonan, will be on that funny program for kids, The Daily Show, tonight! Will she be in the tank for Obama, again? [Daily Show]

New Peggy Blingee!
Sometimes it seems as if the whole world is in the tank for Obama, n’est ce pas? Wait… did I just use French?! Crap, now I’m in the tank for Obama, too.
By the way, did you guys know taht our girl Sara palin did another, hard-hitting interview yesterday?
Oh, Peggy. We love when you get all liquored up and do the talkies.
The best interview would be if Pegs showed up on TDS drunk, incoherent and hitting on Jon.
“Ya know Jonnie… For a Jew, you’re pretty cute. Give momma some sugar!”
She will be smelling of Jameson’s and more or less asking people to sit this lil’ ole vote out because ‘who cares?’.
Peggy Noonan: American Woman.
Peggy might be for Obama, but the homeless guy they interviewed on NPR this morning just voted early for McCain because he likes Palin. He thinks she is “different from all those other ones”. Well, that at least is a true statement.
Link doesn’t work, which is just as well. After 15 seconds of listening to the Pegeen my ears begin to bleed.
oh God, just make her go away. please? i can keep the homicidal urges in abeyance until i see her face and listen. to. that. voice. and witness her imperious manner. please, no.
I bet she uses words like “Cloaca” (go and look it up).
[re=116433]Rush[/re]: Hah! I knows teh wurd u uses and haz no need uf Websters. An example sentence! “George Bush is the cloaca of the nation.”
My, the set of The Daily Show makes it look like a real news program.
[re=116442]TGY[/re]:
“Dick Cheney could shoot a cloaca off a bear can at 100 yards”
[re=116418]S.Luggo[/re]: The link works fine.
With everyone in the tank, could this be the reason McCain’s ‘tanking’?
‘In the Tank’ is the new ‘Thrown Under the Bus’.
[re=116499]Cape Clod[/re]: Get with it. ‘In the Tank’ is the old ‘Gotcha Journalism’.
Huzzah! Peggy Bullshit Noonan makes her triumphant return to the teevee!
I am dying to hear her say, “Is this fuckin’ mike on?”
But also, I want to see her fall to her knees weeping and kiss a picture of Obama. C’mon, Peg, you know McCain/Palin has a total IQ in double digets, you’ve got to do it, so suck it up and get on with it.
I think she should swig from a hip flask and start going into her bit about how airport security denigrates the most important sector of our population, middle-aged women. “Jon, frankly (hic) when we lost the Gipper, it all went into the crapper.”
The Daily Show? Is she pimping a book?
Okay, really: Who the hell cares what the hell Peggy Noonan thinks? No one. She is completely irrelevent. Why “The Daily Show” continues to book these incompetent, psycho morons is beyond understanding. Note to “Daily Show” bookers: We’d rather see stupid C-list movie actors and hack authors and stupid radio DJs than these hot-air blow-

Maybe she’ll just ram a large hunting knife into a pumpkin with Sarah Palin’s picture on it. Tis the season.

[re=116457]Rush[/re]: [re=116442]TGY[/re]: Never heard the word before, but from your usages, I’m guessing “cloaca” is something poop-related.
(looks it up)
Pretty close!
[re=116414]Doglessliberal[/re]: Miss Piggy Noonan was on NPR’s “Blog of the Nation” today.
The “mood of the moment,” she writes, “is marked in part by a sense that our great institutions are faltering, that they’ve forgotten the mission; that the old America in which we were raised is receding, and something new and quite unknown is taking its place; that our leaders have gone astray. There is even a feeling, a faint sense sometimes that we have been relegated to the role of walk-on in someone else’s drama, that as citizens we are crucial and yet somehow…extraneous.”
blah blah blah blah blah

[re=116461]Ken Layne[/re]: Mistress Testy Tender Feelings, I meant to say that the video-link at the site did not work.
But yet forgive that I digress. The words of the interwebs, so confusing.
