  • MORE TIME TO READ YOUR WONKETTE! Ooh, they’ve released the March Jobs Report, let’s see whats we gots here… GAHH! It’s terrible. We must be in a recession! 663,000 jobs were slashed last month, and the unemployment rate rose to 8.5% while the secret “real” unemployment rate rose to 15.6%. Weekly initial jobless claims rose from 657,000 to 669,000 in the largest increase since October 1982. [AP, CNN]

With horrible news like this, the stock market inevitably will go back up to 10,000 today.

Can’t you fools get it through your thick heads? Unemployment is a lagging indicator. The stock market is a leading indicator. Truck Nutz are right on the money!!! Big sale on Truck Nutz!

It’s time for FDR’s Big Deal Plan: “Big deal, I’m rich!”*

I heard Glenn Beck talking about this today, and he said “I first thought the numbers were terrible. But then I realized that 6.8 million jobs were lost, but 6.2 million were created. So there are jobs being created out there, America…”

It’s amazing — even his bursts of optimism are fundamentally erroneous.

Fucking bandwagoners. I’ve been unemployed since last year, back when getting fired was all about stolen coffee filters and creating a hostile work environment. None of this global financial apocalypse bullshit.
