In fact, Newt sounds like someone unelectable in Georgia. He got in and up as a fellow transplant who hated taxes, like the other go-go transplants filling up the formerly agricultural spaces. As I’ve mentioned before, there are a bunch of folks who are championing ‘states rights’ and the like who moved south. Newt’s as “southern” as Nixon.
