Wonkette

A source at Hyperion tells us that Roll Call solicited (as it were) then rejected an ad for the “Washingtonienne” novel (below), returning the ad to publisher as “‘inappropriate’ for their audience.” Is this a reference to the ad, the book, or the girl? We, of course, think the ad is just swell, but we do wonder if — to judge by the actions described in the book — the tagline has it exactly backwards….
