
Clinton spoke to liberal student group yesterday, giving them some political life lessons, such as, "if you're a Democrat and you have sort of normal impulses, you're a sellout." And if you're a Democrat and you have abnormal impulses, you're President.
Actually, Bill was referring to Hillary's declaimed move rightward with her comment that abortion is a "sad, even tragic choice," and he expressed upset that "All of a sudden the media began asking, 'Is she selling out? Is she abandoning her principles?'" He has a point. Bill knows something about abandoning principles and making a rational observation about abortion isn't selling out. The Defense of Marriage Act? That's selling out.
