It's a good thing that Bill Clinton just yesterday explained the difference between "selling out" and being "principled" when it comes to Hillary, or else we would swear her statement today about how violent video games are "stealing the innocence of our children" and denouncing the availability of a graphic pornographic mod to "Grand Theft Auto" was just callow family-values grandstanding.
We've been hearing about this, ahem, plug-in for GTA for quite a bit now. It apparently interrupts the action in this brutually violent first person shooter "sandbox game"* by allowing the protagonist to do some hard core fucking. If the argument is that player see, player do, we would think this is a good thing. Let's face it, if the Trench Coat Mafia had gotten laid more, there'd be one less Michael Moore movie to suffer through.
*What do we know? The last video game we played was Centipede.

RELATED: Geek Gawker brother-in-law Kotaku has a letter from insane anti-everything attorney John Thompson which is way too long for us to read but the top part is a pretty amusing combination of hyperbolic ego-fluffing ("I saw this attack dog mentality by Lowenstein in full bloom in the two appearances I was privileged to enjoy on CBS’s 60 Minutes.") and rabid non-sequitor sermonizing ("Doug never met a pixilated prostitute he didn’t like, and I’m sure James Madison would be impressed."). Enjoy. [Kotaku]
