Edwards’ Body Language: Gay or Italian?

When someone’s body language appears overly-expressive, one question usually comes to mind: Gay or Italian?

Personally, John Edwards body language came across as “sleazy trial lawyer” last night, but that probably means we’ve been reading too many RNC talking points.

But other observers took note of the would-be Veep’s, um, expressiveness, too. Slate’s Mickey Kaus noted, “Like many great performers, he’s reached the stage where his tricks and mannerisms have become self-conscious and exaggerated…” Uh-huh.
