Bush Boozing?
The National Enquirer’s web site has an explosive, shocking story about President Bush’s drinking:
“The war in Iraq, the loss of American lives, has deeply affected him. He takes every soldier’s life personally. It has left him emotionally drained,” [said a Washington source].Of course, we don’t believe a word of it: George Bush takes every life personally? Right. Tell that to Mrs. Sheehan. And as far as Katrina goes — guess that means the levees breaking upset him enough to drink but not to, you know, do anything about it.“When the levees broke in New Orleans, it apparently made him reach for a shot,” said one insider.
On the bright side: Hey, maybe he does care about black people.
