Well, this officially ends any and all support that I have lent to Operation Smile!
What the hell were the guys in charge of THAT 501(c)(3) thinking??? The only thing that I can think of to justify Jessica "does tuna come from chickens" Simpson representing this non-prof is that Operation Smile is planning on changing its name to "BRAIN-LESS, USE-LESS, FAMOUS-FOR-NO-REASON-OTHER-THAN-BEING-STUPIDS R US"

Oh please get a grip. It remains a worthwhile charity. It should be possible for movie people, regardless of intelligence quotient score, to visit town and pester the pols for money for worthwhile causes, or even goofy ones. Joaquin Phoenix would be a far more appropriate spokesthing for Operation Smile, but I'm sure he's been asked and had other commitments. How about Stacy keach, then? I've been trying to think of some dignified giant of intellect who has a hare lip, but aside from Jurgen Habermas, i come up empty.
