CNN is reporting that the Travis County grand jury has issued an arrest warrant for Tom DeLay. Details so far appear sketchy, but we do think that if recent experience has taught us anything, it's that the Hammer should give up Scooter Libby pronto. . .

A Texas grand jury has indicted Tom Delay on another illegal fundraising charge and Delay tells Hotline that he's rubber and prosecutor Ronnie Earle is glue: "He is trying to pull the legal equivalent of a 'do-over' since he knows very well that the charges he brought against me last week are totally manufactured and illegitimate." Delay then called "Shotgun!" for the car ride back home, during which he was heard to tell a senior aide that Harriet Miers has cooties.
