You heard this one? Marine borrows a couple jokes from Team America, tears a reference or two from the headlines, puts it to song, releases viral video. Everyone freaks the fuck out. Wait, they say, it’s all in good fun! It’s an madcap romp about keeping a sense of humor in a warzone, like M*A*S*H or Full Metal Jacket. More the latter than the former, really.
(When it comes down to it, disturbing absence of empathy aside, it’s still less offensive than James Blunt.)
