The President Is Thinking About Iraq

President Bush keeps track of many things, but he wants everyone to know that he’s been paying particular attention to Iraq lately:

“I think about Iraq every day. Every single day, because I understand we have troops in harm’s way.”

And he doesn’t just mean weekdays, either. He means every single day. Like, last Saturday, when MTV was running a Pimp My Ride marathon, he even took a few moments to imagine how cherry it’d be if the guys at West Coast Customs put a ping pong table inside one of Saddam’s golden carriages. Seriously, it’s like he’s totally obsessed. IRAQ, IRAQ, IRAQ….You can barely get him to talk about anything else. — GREG BEATO
