OK, we're still not sure what's going on at Air America: Maybe it's not them. Maybe it's us. They're off the air in two major markets (dumped by station owner Arthur Liu) -- but this whole bounced check/air time double-dipping thingee? Ack. Math is hard. One thing's for sure, Air America is handing this controversy with the light comedic touch we've come to expect:
- This Liu-ser was ripping off our boss Evan Cohen big time (he can’t do that, that’s our job). Evan found out about it and he stopped payment on a check to keep Liu-cifer from ripping him off even more. . . . So we got screwed, Liu’d, and tattooed. How Liu can you get? In Liu of payment. Liu’d and lascivious behavior.
Isn't it a pity this hilarity isn't on the air? You could ask, What will we listen to in Liu of it? Ha! Get it? Get it? Oh, we crack ourselves up.
ALSO: The hamsters whose spinning wheels provide electricity for the Gawker servers were on a coffee break yesterday afternoon, so it appears Drudge got his story on this up before we did. Can we still keep that hat?
