Of Northeastern University, that is. Yesterday we passed along the rumor that Gore was on the shortlist for the presidency of Northeastern. But it now seems that they've given the job to a linguist with more vowels in his last name.

Poor Gore. He can't get no respect from the mainstream media. And now he can't secure the presidency of a university that lets Michael Dukakis into the classroom.

But maybe this latest snub will make Gore even more alluring as a 2008 contender. The more irrelevant Gore looks, the more appealing he becomes.
