Bothersome ice colony "Alaska" has a bridge that goes to the Twilight Zone, but apparently no equipment for cleaning up oil spills -- which is not really a big deal because that has never happened before, especially not in Alaska:
A Valdez-based citizen watchdog group told legislators Tuesday that the state's arsenal of oil-response equipment lags behind modern technology and the state division that enforces the rules for preventing and cleaning up spills has an "ever-worsening funding shortage."
Alaska Not Quite Ready For Another Oil Spill Yet
As long as it's still in Alaska its still considered 'wealth'.
I dabble a bit over at HuffPo as well and I would chuckle at the claims of "Third World America". Now I'm not so sure.
