Clean, articulate Senator Joe Biden -- the guy who runs for president, like, all the time and always makes some dumb-shit remark about black people that overshadows his foreign policy chops -- has made another boo-boo, this time in an interview with The Washington Post's editorial board.
Biden's "stumble," as a very objective WaPo headline declares it, came during a lengthy discussion of education policy, and why some school districts suck more than others. Namely, why do Iowa's rural schools perform better than, say, DC's urban schools? Three guesses on which angle Biden chose to answer this! (Hint: it has nothing to do with gender, creed or Butter Cow).
Obviously fucking black people are the problem with education, says Senator Joe:
"There's less than 1 percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than 4 or 5 percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you're dealing with."
Wait a sec... this must be why Dick Cheney can't learn, too!
