Buh-Bye, B-List Blunders
One of the saddest trajectories to watch this election season was the daily e-mail from the NRCC called "B-List Blunders."
The catch phrase, "Why candidate recruitment matters," became more true every day in October and November. Unfortunately for the National Republican Congressional Committee, the troublesome candidates were on the GOP side. And they were incumbents.
But the B-List crew bravely soldiered on, sending out a dwindling daily list of painfully minor "blunders" committed by Dems who were generally running doomed races against entrenched Republicans.
Oh, and the Dems just picked up the first of 15 seats they need to take the House: Brad Ellsworth takes Indiana's 8th Congressional district from Republican John Hostettler.
