the LA times said whaaaa?CNN will partner with the Los Angeles Times and Politico to put on the last two debates of the primary season -- Republicans on Jan. 30 and Demrats on Jan. 31 in LA, right before Super Tubersday. So if giving CNN yet another chance to screw up major debates is the first mistake, then allowing Wolf Blitzer to moderate one of them (Anderson Cooper the other, meh) is the second, third and fourth mistakes. It's also interesting that CNN would partner with the LA Times, which called them the "Corrupt News Network" over the weekend.

Looks like the LA Times will just have to suck it up and ask about diamonds, pearls, baseballs and sanctuaries, and every question must be planted by Hillary Clinton. It's CNN rules now, bitch:

In fact, this most recent debacle masquerading as a presidential debate [Wednesday's Republican YouTube debate] raises serious questions about whether CNN is ethically or professionally suitable to play the political role the Democratic and Republican parties recently have conceded it.

Selecting a president is, more than ever, a life and death business, and a news organization that consciously injects itself into the process, as CNN did by hosting Wednesday's debate, incurs a special responsibility to conduct itself in a dispassionate and, most of all, disinterested fashion. When one considers CNN's performance, however, the adjectives that leap to mind are corrupt and incompetent.

But like, I guess if CNN wants to hang out with us, we can't be rude and like say no, so I guess we'll do it, and stuff. They started it anyway.
