It would surprise no one that this painting, on display in the Department of Justice Sacramento was controversial. More surprising: It was on display in the cafeteria. (New dieting technique?) Even more surprising: It was painted by an "artist-lawyer." But what really knocked us back is what became of it: "Attorney General Bill Lockyer has pulled the painting critical of President Bush from the cafeteria and moved it to his office, where public access is limited." Really, you need to be alone with great art in order to appreciate it.
