Dick Cheney charges Howard Dean with being "over the top." President Bush unveils a new excuse involving Democratic obstructionism every chance he gets. For months now, they and their fellow Republicans have been boldly and decisively blaming their failures on the minority party, and yet where's the Democrats' plan to address chronic GOP whining? Granted, it may not be American's most pressing problem, but it's certainly its most annoying one. But have you heard even one Democratic leader propose an innovative, viable solution to it? And it's not like President Bush isn't asking for their input. If the Democrats have bold and decisive proposals for how to end GOP whining, well, then, he wants to hear 'em! So far, however, nothing. It's pretty disgusting. — GREG BEATO
