In other t-shirt related news, we learn from Big Picnic that a radio talk show host has launched a boycott against the company that produces a t-shirt reading "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them." The host believes the company (whose other shirts sport such slogans as "Boys have cooties.") is underwriting "an anti-male culture that has caused boys to fare poorly in schools." Though a couple of chains dropped the shirt (pussies), sales over the internet have topped $200,000 for that shirt alone. What's that word for when the opposite of what you're trying make happen, happens? It's on the tip of my tongue. . .
