Help Make Dana Funny
Hey, everyone! The Washington Post found YouTube! Did you hear about those Brokeback Mountain parodies? What about that Snakes on a Plane, what's with that? Did you know that this new internet video revolution is something of a double-edged sword? It raises issues! Copyright and stuff!
And look, the Post, those cute little devils, want you to create your own "video mash-up." With Dana Milbank, that lovable scamp! Who in their right mind wouldn't want to make a hilarious viral internet video about Dana Milbank? The guy's comedy gold! Maybe you could have him singing the hampster dance song, or saying "all your base are belong to us" or something. Now's you chance to help Washington Post-Newsweek Interactive propagate stupid internet memes!
(Watching the provided video of Dana pretending to interview... something is, perhaps, funnier than any "mashed-up" clip could ever be. While it's difficult and embarrassing to sit through, you'll be rewarded about halfway through when he just starts mugging like a jackass.)
Ah, but the small print:
Submissions will be disqualified if they violate copyright or are determined to be offensive, threatening, defamatory or libelous.
You know what that means. We'll have our own contest. With only videos that are offensive, threatening, defamatory, or libelous. If your Dana Milbank mashup video fits any of those descriptions, put it on YouTube or something and send it to us. You know we'll appreciate it more anyway.
