The Hill reports that staffer holiday parties this year totally suck. Majority Leader Delay -- whose 2000 party was at Morton's -- is even denying the existence of anything so grand as a "party;" a spokesman calls it "very fun, but it wouldn’t go under the category of party." Which may be disingenuous, because most things actually called office parties wouldn't go under the category of "fun." Speaking of which, staffers for Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tx.) are at least being honest about the event: "The food will likely be take-out from Tortilla Coast — oooh, luxury — and the gift exchange will be hostile."
