Judith Miller Puts Money Where Her Mouth Is
Whenever we get lost following the twists and turns* of Patrick Fitzgerald's investigation into who leaked the name of CIA agent Valerie Plame, we try to remember journalists' Hansel and Gretel line: Follow the money. The latest breadcrumb? We hear that Judith Miller left jail with speaking engagements booked through 2007. All for going to jail for not talking. Sort of makes you want to stuff wads of bills down her throat, no? Figure that she'll get at least $50K a pop, maybe one every other month, and, well, maybe she can buy some new friends or something.
*All this talk of targets just makes us want to go shopping!
