Karl Rove To Ignore Senate Supoena
Patrick Leahy has subpoenaed Karl Rove, which means Rove must testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee -- but not really, although the Senate and House continue to sort of act like they have some kind of authority over the White House.
White House counsel Fred Fielding said Rove wouldn't be showing up because "the subpoena probably got delivered to the wrong address" and that Leahy "couldn't prove he was a senator" and "the font was kind of weird looking, like something from an IBM Selectric" and "Rove is home sick this year" and "La la la la I can't hear you."
