Karl Rove's Son Won't Be Doing Mexican Work
White House Rasputin Karl Rove again endeared the administration to anti-immigration Republicans yesterday with this defense of Bush's open-border policy: "I don't want my 17-year-old son to have to pick tomatoes or make beds in Las Vegas."
Rove said this at a Republican women's luncheon -- because he apparently thinks he's a woman now -- and the bloggers at National Review Online are very angry! Mark Krikorian says these Republican elitists have got it all wrong, because wealthy white GOP spawn should be picking tomatoes, splitting fence rails, making up beds in Las Vegas and otherwise hustling for dollars just like poor people have to do for survival.
We also heartily endorse this "elbow grease" philosophy and truly hope President Duncan Hunter will immediately and forcibly send the Late Night Shots kids to agricultural camps for some character-building backbreaking labor.
