Last Week's Shots: The Disillusionment of Smith Point
This week's revue of the Late Night Shots forum features a brilliant moment of self-critique. Just for a moment, the LNSers saw the seams of their 1980s fantasy cocaine internet club. It calls to mind Anais Nin: "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom ."
We grow weary of this charade. Look forward to spotty coverage of the LNS forums until they do something extraordinarily funny again.
Until then, ride the wave of "women-are-retarded" with Intern Lauren -- one last time.
Problems with my ex-boyfriend

If you don't want to go the restraining order route, what is the best way to get your ex-boyfriend away from you? My ex-boyfriend will not leave me alone, he is on LNS, and I hope he reads this! I saw a piece on the news about a girl's ex-boyfriend setting her on fire and it really freaked me out.

What are the rules when it comes to women asking men out on a date?

When you ask him out, be sure and let him know that you are into guys who have no ball and lack the confidence to ask a women out.

last night at chief ike's mambo room i met a girl, had a good time, we were making out in a corner of the bar and she seemed like a sweet girl. then at 12: 30 i started fist pumping and informed her that we would be leaving to go to smith point, and she shuddered. she said she never went there, and didn't really say anything condescending, just that she didn't like it. so we discussed it for a while, and she was not kidding....she wasn't going. does anything have experience dealing with girls like this? i was kind of into the girl but to be realistic, i'm not sure i could date a girl who was repulsed by the georgetown scene and the crowd i run with. particularly looking for advice from girls who don't like smith point. thank you.

No need to hate on the girl for not wanting to go to SP. Hate on yourself for being an idiot and not staying at that bar OR asking her where SHE wanted to go next. She might have said your place.
AP WIRE Newsflash - SP STOCK not as hot as you think.

Oh right, because most women just LOVE an indecisive guy who can be easily lead around by his cock and defers to their whims.
You are either a guy with zero game or a naive girl who actually thinks this is true. Either way, please don't give any "advice" on this subject.

SP Linecutter only has "game" in one bar. Weak brother. Weak. Real men don't mind deffering to a woman every now and again especially when the end game results in a little horizontal end of the evening.
If your only claim to fame is dragging woman back to your lair (S.P) by either hitting them on the head, a roofie, etc...then you have ZERO GAME!
I wonder how long until this post gets taken down! ;-)
Dont cry SP Linecutter. Dont cry.

When I think of SP, I think of the "cool" college bar, the "everybody knows your name" bar, which I frequented every night I could, and yes everyone knew my name...
The point being, it was a COLLEGE bar. I for one am so glad to be out of that scene. There comes a point when being considered popular just isn't important.
My idea of SP is the kids in college who weren't part of the cool crowd, and are making up for it now. Sorry you guys didn't have a chance to be cool then...

i totally agree...if you take a look at most of the die hard SP fans (i do love the bar dearly, don't get me wrong) they all attended sub-par universitities, had terrible greek affiliations, and/or are trying to live the college life now...
