So let's review some of the primary season's major endorsements: Dean has Bradley and Gore, locking up the tall, awkward technocrat vote. Kucinich has Willie Nelson and the creatures of the forest, pulling in the pot-heads and mammals (neither of whom actually vote, but still an impressive haul). Now Clark blows them away by snagging the blessing of the Material Girl. Or does he? While it's true that even ugly buildings and whores get respectable with age, it's still hard to believe that anyone would take political advice offered by the star of "Who's That Girl?" Still, she has some impressive arguments: how can you argue with "He is smart and he is good"?
