Maryland Cops Raid Wrong Address, Kill Dog
Some savvy flatfoots in Prince George's County, Maryland got all excited over the weekend for a drug raid, because who wouldn't!? In their glee, however, they overlooked the fine point of "correct addresses" and raided the house two doors down from the suspect. Instead of apologizing to the homeowners for the mistake, however, they shot and killed their dog .
Wrongfully raided Pam and Frank Myers were watching a movie Friday night -- a likely story -- when the police barged into their house and held them hostage for 45 minutes. They wouldn't even let Frank Myers go to the potty, "which is like seven feet down the hall," he said.
Oh and then they shot their dog:
The Myers say the deputies knew immediately they had raided the wrong home. They say it could have ended with an apology, until the couple heard two shots from the yard.
"And I said, 'You just shot my dog," said Pam Myers, through tears. "I just wanted to go out and hold her a bit. They wouldn't even let me go out."
The couple's five-year-old boxer Pearl was killed. The deputy says he feared for his life. They say the dog would bark but was no danger to the deputies.
In a new theory I just made up, however, the cops were actually thugs hired by Hillary Clinton , and Pam and Frank Myers were Kathleen Willey.
