Mitt Romney Blandly Concedes
Mitt just conceded to WALNUTS and congratulated the elderly senator for running a positive campaign. Romney then thanked his staff and called wife Ann his sweetheart, which, as a girl, I thought was kind of cute. Then he started campaigning again: Things in Washington are broken, people in Washington have promised to fix them and haven't, etc. He did, however, finally bother to take credit for universal health coverage in Massachusetts, now that he's apparently losing the GOP nomination. He ended the night by making a pitch for votes in Michigan, noting that the state has raised taxes and lost jobs and he can totally fix that somehow. Poor Romney even appeared on television with his hair messed up, right there in a state where he's well known and even owns property. Good luck in 2012, Mittens!
