Obama & Hillary Agree: Nader Blows
In these crucial final days of the epic Lady vs. Kenyan primary, it's important that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama only agree for 30 seconds, only at the end of each weekly debate -- and they can only agree that they're both awesome. That's why it's so shocking to hear the enemy combatants saying the same thing about Ralph Nader's jump into the race. They both want him to die.
Hillary, asked about Nader's latest attempt at spoiling a race and somehow getting George W. Bush elected again, noted that Nader currently has the legal right to try to run for office. But she made it ominously clear such rights would be quickly eliminated once she's president.
"Obviously, it's not helpful to whomever our Democratic nominee is. But it's a free country," Hillary said. She also called Nader a "passing fancy," which is pretty homophobic.
As for Barack, he said this about the Corvair-hating septuagenarian: "He thought that there was no difference between Al Gore and George Bush, and eight years later, I think people realize that Ralph did not know what he was talking about."
