This is a message from the U.S. Capitol Police.
The U.S. Capitol Police are responding to a suspicious substance in the women's bathroom near room 1226 of the Longworth building.
All staff and other personnel are directed to avoid this area until further notice.
Generally we'd say that if the Capitol Police report a suspicious substance in a bathroom at Longworth, they probably mean a conference room at Rayburn. But you know, suspicious substance in the ladies room? Mysterious white powder discovered on an abandoned compact next to a rolled-up page from the Congressional Record, right? This one's too obvious.
Still, though, better get Ed Henry in the tux, just in case.
