OK, now that's some fake news on CNN
Somebody let Donald Trump at the electric Twitter machine again Tuesday night, and it appears his views on his very own "decision" to end Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) had already evolved since Tuesday morning. Maybe. It's Trump, who the hell knows what he means?
So let's review: In announcing the end of DACA -- if Congress doesn't do anything in the next six months -- Attorney General Jeff Sessions (retching noises) argued that Barack Obama's executive action creating DACA was unconstitutional. By Tuesday night, Trump had decided it's up to Congress to "legalize DACA" (possibly only for medicinal but not recreational use), and if it doesn't do so within six months, then Trump will "revisit" the issue.
Like how? Possibly with an executive order? It's entirely possible that Trump has no idea that Obama instituted DACA in 2012 after Congress failed to pass the DREAM Act over a Republican filibuster, passing the House but getting only 55 votes in the Senate. Or, in Trump math, doing whatever the opposite of that humdinger was he said about losing the Obamacare repeal-and-replace bill "48 to four."
Considering Democrats’ absolute opposition to [the bill to repeal Obamacare], Trump said he was still pleased with how close the legislation had come to passage.
“Essentially the vote would have been pretty close too, if you look at it: 48 to 4,” said Trump, referring to the Republican side only. “That’s a pretty impressive vote by any standard.”
Those were fun times, weren't they?
Not that Trump's tweet really means anything at all, other than that he was watching cable news and saw a lot of people saying he was a heartless bastard. Should Congress fail to pass anything to help DACA recipients stay in the country, Trump will definitely "revisit" the issue, and decide the best thing to do is start the deportations, because his wingnut base can't get enough of those.
Of course, Trump will have someone else say that for him.

Probably mentioned below, but we all know 45 will still manage to keep his underpaid staff at Mar-a-lago, his gardeners and his housekeepers. How many of these anti-immigration dicks have been found to have undocumented workers working for them? "Oh, that's different"
Hey, remember when he was super surprised that Democrats were upset when he fired Comey? It's almost like this asshole has no idea how to read the current political climate.
