Yesterday, we predicted that in the wake of the Taxation Without Representation team's efforts, other PR-hungry activists, such as the federal government, would make bids for the naming rights to RFK Stadium too. Today, via DCist, we learn that we're actually a week behind the marketing whizzes at the U.S. Army, "who might be willing to pay an average of about $1.4 million per season" for the stadium's naming rights. The whiny leftist response to this news? "Maybe they should think about sponsoring an extra $1.4 million worth of body armor!" Maybe.
