I try to imagine the very slim odds of making one of those backwards aerial kicks. Man. The other two goals on Liverpool were kinda ridiculous on Liverpool's goalie. I'm still not sure how that last one got past him. Musta been a lot more stink on that ball than it looked like.
Yeah, the amazing thing with those bicycle kicks..it's not like adjusting the angle of your foot at the last second to put it into the back of the net...the contortions involved mean you have to start winding your body up about the same instant the ball is crossed. Not that many people on the planet have the skill. I saw a science-y thing with Ronaldo, of all people. Among his many unusual talents is the ability to gather a tremendous amount of information about where a ball is headed, speed, and trajectory even BEFORE it leaves the foot of the passer. I'm sure many top players have this skill...but it is astonishing...almost extrasensory. The test involved him watching someone winding up to strike the ball from the corner while he was in front of goal, then the studio was plunged into total darkness before it left the foot. Ronaldo was able to head it in, pitch dark, time and time again. I think the Liverpool goalie was so rattled by that first blunder, he was ripe for another. What a time to have your worst day ever, right?
Rudy Giuliani Has Thing To Say, And It Is A Noun, A Verb, And ‘KOREAN PERJURY TRAPS!’
