Senate to Convene on Day You Have Off For First Time in History
Harry Reid decided that Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer did a better job with this whole "symbollically opposing the President" thing than the Senate could manage, so he's scrapping their non-binding resolution for the House's. The House, of course, won't be voting until Friday at midnight. So the Senate will vote on whether to vote on the House's bill onSaturday.
If the Saturday vote succeeds, Reid said he may cancel the upcoming week-long recess, scrambling campaign plans for at least six presidential candidates.
