The Children of the House
We just finished reading the letter House Republicans are distributing today calling attention to Democrats "hypocrisy" regarding "honesty in government." It has the tone of a gay junior high student who has recently discovered sarcasm. (Maybe David Drier wrote it?)
Mr. Clyburn...did you mention your trip to Saipan that was allegedly paid for by lobbyist Jack Abramoff? Does that fall into your definition of "culture of corruption"?
Mr. Mendez...[a former staffer] lobbies you on behalf of her clients and that you share the same address at the luxury Independence at the Shipyard apartments...Is this further evidence of a "culture of corruption and cronyism"? Or, most probably, these labels couldn't possibly apply to your circumstance?
Ooooh, SNAP! She got you bad, girlfriend. The Democrats plan to respond in a similar vein, putting their fingers in their ears and shouting, "I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you say bounces on me and sticks on you!"
