That Leiby, he's got moxie. He's got that National Park Service police story by the throat and he'snot letting go. Yesterday, confirmation that they were literally "asleep at the wheel." Today, we learn the park police allowed flags --Americanflags -- to be stolen from around the National Monument. We look forward to tomorrow's story, "Squirrel-Gate: What the park police don't want you to know about their nuts."
This is the kind of dogged reporting that made the Post famous. And we don't think the Post management needs to worry about him getting poached by the Daily News any time soon.
