Donald Trump is holding campaign rallies again. And he refuses to stop. This means America has been subjected to Hate Festivals and Racism Rallies for about 486,372 years. Yay! We only have 399,765 years left to survive of this fresh hell we call "The Post-Obama Years," or as the future people will call it, "that time we let a demented con-artist light America on fire." As you know, we here at Wonkette would NEVER complain about someone so awesome as our desperately stupid attention seeking Baby Dotard of a President, but it's apparent he is going to get someone killed if he doesn't stop his crowd manipulation tactics. It's well-known that Trump doesn't seem to care if his crowd attacks journalists. Remember when he used now Montana Rep. Greg Gianforte's assault on Ben Jacobs as an applause line at a campaign rally late last year? Because he's a POS? Yeah.

This year he's up to his same old trick of using anti-media propaganda to manipulate and exploit his crowds. He doesn't even want to sell them patent medicines or time-shares; this is just so he can harness their nasty, vile, angry, mean ass Red MAGA hat wearing energy against his enemies. That's normal for Trump. What is NOT NORMAL is the fact that one of his supporters was trying to beat the sh*t out of BBC cameraman Ron Skeans at a rally in Texas last night. Skeans is okay. But still.

See how Trump was on stage doing his thing like a stupid modern day version of John Adams? Instead of thinking about things, he did that thing where he hollers "Fake news!" at the media in order pump the crowd up, so the crowd cheered in response, clapped, and chanted his name. (This is something that makes him feel important as fuck, it's why he never stopped running for President.) By the time his cameraman-abusing MAGA-bot broke bad, Trump had only just finished wailing about how the fake news never reports the GOOD STUFF he does like him saving Negrolandia. They only ever talk about the BAD STUFF, like when he robs old people, doesn't pay people, or throws government employees into the workhouse. How rude!

From BBC:

"Sporting a Make America Great Again cap, the man shoved and swore at the BBC's Ron Skeans and other news crews before being pulled away. Mr Skeans said the "very hard shove" came from his blindside. "I didn't know what was going on."

This isn't funny, so I don't have a joke for you to lighten the mood and make you not remember Charlie Hebdo.

Mr Trump saw the attack and confirmed Mr Skeans was well with a thumbs up after it happened.

This is the part that pisses me off. Trump is pretty fucking delusional, but he can't possibly not see how he is responsible for radicalizing his own supporters. Fuck your thumbs up, homie. STOP SPREADING HATE AND LIES!

The BBC has written to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders asking for a review of security arrangements for the media attending the president's rallies following the attack.

Why would anyone trust a review done by this administration? Be smarter and safer to hire MS-13 to escort the media to Trump rallies. Isn't it weird how Trump is personally responsible for granting a wonderful new job to all Americans darker than a paper bag, yet it is TOTALLY NOT HIS FAULT one of his fans presumably just could NOT control himself after Dotard got him all hyped up like a 6-year-old with his own candy factory? It's perfectly normal to be ready to go TOTAL WAR all over any punk ass Katy Tur, Chris Hayes, or Kristen Welker that might be feeling like a badass ... journalist reporting facts. Right?

This is not the first time America has experienced violence on the campaign trail, and it may not be the last. This is different because we were warned by the United Nations back in August 2018 that Trump was a brand new ball-game; "His attacks are strategic, designed to undermine confidence in reporting and raise doubts about verifiable facts," according to David Kaye and Edison Lanza, UN and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. We're left to hope he doesn't continue on this path and get people killed rather than just roughed up. At this point if you ever saw us at a MAGA rally, we would be not controlling ourselves; we would be desperately eyeballing every single emergency exit so that if the angry, yowling "forgotten people" lynch some poor unfortunate MAGABrotha on stage, maybe we can slip away and survive.

The producers of your favorite live-action Jack Chick pamphlet, "God's Not Dead" -- you know, the one where the Hercules dude plays an evil philosophy professor who tells all of his students on the first day that they are no longer allowed to believe in god? As all secular professors do? -- have come out with a thrilling new movie, all about how abortion is bad or whatever.

The movie tells the "true" story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic worker turned professional anti-choicer. Johnson has been a darling of the forced birth circuit ever since she made up ridiculous and provably false reasons for quitting the Planned Parenthood that was about to fire her for being bad at her job.

Basically, she claims that Planned Parenthood was pushing her to make more abortions happen so they could reel in more dough, and also that she witnessed (for the first time ever!) an ultrasound-guided abortion and saw the baby move from the light and then immediately realized that what she was doing was wrong.

The thing is, however -- no ultrasound-guided abortions were performed on the day she said it happened, and the only reason there was an uptick in abortions at her clinic was because they started offering the abortion pill on a daily basis (and had previously only been performing surgical abortions every other Saturday).

As you may have guessed, the movie does not address any of these things. It also looks very, very bad.

Ever since Ruth Bader Ginsburg successfully underwent surgery for lung cancer, conservative sites and message boards have been trafficking in a ridiculous theory that she is actually dead and that there is some kind of Weekend at Bernie's-esque conspiracy to pretend she is still alive.

Now, one would think that her recent public appearance at a concert held in her honor would have put this to rest. Alas, it did not. Rather, the "researchers" (as they hilariously call themselves) determined that the concert was actually her funeral.

No. Really. That was a thing.

I admit that I gave this a lot more thought than I should have. Like, how did they think this would go? How long did they imagine this would go on for? Why would they risk having a full on funeral concert, open to the press? Wouldn't they just have not bothered to have a funeral at all? And what did these people think was going to happen when it was announced that she died for real? Or did they think that we were going to pretend that she is immortal and thus never announce her death? It's so confusing!

Being very up to date on the "RBG is secretly dead!" nonsense, I was very curious about which way the "anons" would go with this when they announced her return to work on Friday. They did not disappoint!
