Vitter Resignation Watch: National Review, Fox News People Say 'Resign, Creep'
Fringe right-wing mouthpieces Sean Hannity (Fox News) and Katherine Jean Lopez (National Review) have a message for Republican Senator and sex-criminal David "Diaperman" Vitter: Time to go, scumbag! Really, when the conservative media is saying "Pack it up, Pampers," not even your power-crazed wife can save your political career.
Talking about Vitter's demands that Bill Clinton resign for having a plain old affair with a co-worker, Hannity said this: "I think Senator Vitter should probably live by the line that he put out for Bill Clinton back in the Monica Lewinsky scandal."
And writing on NRO's blog, Lopez says this: "It's a crime. It's a bad crime. And someone who purports to believe what he does understands the cultural implications of the existence of that illegal industry. I think he's probably should resign. If he cheated on his wife with his secretary the sinner could probably hold onto his job."
