"Webb Was In the Bathroom, and Couldn't Be Reached For Comment"
The Allen campaign wants us to know that six years ago, Virginia Senate candidate Jim Webb called the Clinton administration "the most corrupt administration in modern memory." And yesterday, Clinton campaigned for Webb! What a difference six years makes. While this reads to us as a rather damning indictment of whoever's been in charge these last six years (you know, whatsisface, the white guy), it apparently demonstrates Webb's mercenary lack of principles. Whatever, we just like this last sentence in the Post story, about former Virginia Senator Chuck Robb:
Robb has an unlisted telephone number and couldn't be reached for comment.
Now that's journalism.
