Did it ever stop? One cannot receive dozens of gin recommendations and then just have some tea. It was a long night and we're reconsidering the back-to-gin decision. We just wish we'd gotten this email earlier:

boodles is the best gin for a dry martini. anybody who drinks for a living ought to know that. another thing to keep in mind when drinking gin is the hallucinegenic (sp?) properties of the juniper berry, from which gin is derived.

This explains the condition of the hotel room. Can you get insurance for that kind of thing?
