A reader inquires after a pair of items in our Gossip Roundup:
“Under the Dome: Media consultant switches parties after suing Republican candidate for unpaid fees. . . Rep. Clay Shaw (R-Fla.) is undergoing surgery today to remove cancerous tumor. [The Hill]”
Are you suggesting these two items are somehow related?
Not at all. We, of course, wish nothing but a clean bill of health for Representative Shaw. We’ve also received no reports that the tumor, once extracted, intends to switch parties.
