The INS and the Government Printing Office, working together to ease the transition of the new citizen into American life, have printed out helpful Civics flashcards. Because we can always use a refresher course, we thought we’d take the quiz ourselves. Oh, here’s an easy question:

Ah, we know that one by heart. If we had to pick just one portion that was particularly dear to us, though, it’d be freedom of the press. The press being the only non-government profession specifically mentioned and protected by the Constitution itself! Sweet memories of high school civics class are flooding back to us, and we’re proud to call ourselves citizens of… wait, hold on…

Hmm. Well, we’re sure they got the Second Amendment right, at least.
