This is Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen calling for Fidel Castro to be assassinated. The interview was shot last March, showed up on YouTube last month, and it’s been really shocking to people who think our elected representatives shouldn’t go around calling for nuts to shoot their leaders. Ros-Lehtinen claims she was taken out of context, so the filmmakers released another video of her saying pretty much the same thing.
We tried to work up some outrage, but this has actually been accepted US policy for 50 years, so what the hell is everyone bitching about? That she’s telling the truth about her insane bloodlust? We don’t negotiate with terrorists!
