Upon reading your post and the comments below, You have once more proven that people have the amazing ability to type without knowing how to read.

Seriously, the first one over there, WTF?

AngryBlakGuy June 9, 2008 at 10:08 am

…for just $30 dollars a month you can provide enough Grampers, Polident & Ben Gay to maintain the lifestyle of senior citizen in U.S.

Godless Liberal * June 9, 2008 at 10:09 am

The phrase “dead to me” would normally come to mind here, but 2000 was such a long time ago, and he was a little less old and a little less crazy back then.

bitchincamaro June 9, 2008 at 10:14 am

“…change is coming.” And it did. I hope it was in
Canadian nickels. They weren’t worth as much back then.
That’s a stunning confession, Ken. Better it came from you
than MSNBC.

gurukalehuru June 9, 2008 at 10:34 am

I don’t know if I’d have had the nerve to make such a confession, but thankfully, I don’t have to. You owe Bama 30 bucks. Adjusted for devaluation of the dollar, more like 60.

Fferret June 9, 2008 at 10:36 am

Ken….oh Ken. Wat else is in that copious closet of yours? Hmmm….lookee here! I found a Citgo gas receipt. Obviously, this makes you a Socialist sympathizer of Hugo ‘U-Go’ Chavez! Waitaminute, what’s this? A library card? Well, we’ll just fill out this blank NSL… Hey, is that leftover Moo Goo Gai Pan? Ohhhh, this is very bad! Just stand over in that corner with your hands around your ankles, we’ll be with you in a minute as soon as the capacitors finish charging!

jagorev June 9, 2008 at 10:37 am

That’s nothing. I supported George Bush in 200.

I’m so sorry.

Gregory_of_Nazianzus June 9, 2008 at 10:59 am

Really, you couldn’t see through McCain in 2000?

Whore Diamond in the Rough June 9, 2008 at 11:17 am

Bitter Hillary supporter with foresight>Ken Layne?

DangerousLiberal June 9, 2008 at 11:23 am

[re=10825]jagorev[/re]: That’s funny, because in 200 WALNUTS! joined the Navy, securing the Med Sea for the Roman Empire.

TGY June 9, 2008 at 11:25 am

It’s ok, Al Gore would’ve taken your money and spent it on something useless, like inventing the Intarwebs again or Global Housewarming or somesuch.

Harvey Birdman June 9, 2008 at 11:29 am

What the fuck is with the crazy comments on there? I’m surprised they don’t just forward you their chain emails.

loudmouthredhead June 9, 2008 at 11:45 am

It’s all good Ken, back when the elder Bush ran for office (I was in middle school) I literally beat up kids who supported Dukakis. I was an evil, evil child.

I also had those Desert Storm trading cards. Remember those?!

Unlike most GOP-ers though, I GREW UP, went to one of those elitist “schools” and received a “degree”, and now don’t watch NASCAR on a couch on my lawn. You, too, have grown Ken. Welcome back to the light.

loudmouthredhead June 9, 2008 at 11:47 am

[re=10882]DangerousLiberal[/re]: That’s why it’s NOT a mis-type :P

ronaldpagan June 9, 2008 at 11:58 am

I liked Nader in 2000…I’m not sure which is worse…

ronaldpagan June 9, 2008 at 12:04 pm

Why does it cut off peoples’ posts sometimes? Am I not allowed to say “Nader”?

HerExcellency June 9, 2008 at 12:04 pm

[re=10895]loudmouthredhead[/re]: Oh my god. I had the Desert Storm trading cards! They were so incredibly nerdy, in a warmongering sort of way. Only instead of being in middle school, I was six. I am not sure if that makes it more or less pathetic.

TinyTheToga June 9, 2008 at 12:08 pm

Back in 2000, $30 bought enough gas for the Straight Talk Express to cover the southern states with enough left over for a trip back to his lobbywhore in DC.

loudmouthredhead June 9, 2008 at 12:25 pm

[re=10917]HerExcellency[/re]: I think less…maybe

“TAKING SIDES… TAKING SIDES?? IF HE IS NOT TAKING AMERICA’S SIDE, WHOSE SIDE IS HE TAKING??”

Wow, you get some nice commenters on yer site, there Ken.

PoliticalGraffiti June 9, 2008 at 1:00 pm

sweet beard

Ken Layne June 9, 2008 at 1:40 pm

I should probably explain that my McCain support was limited to trying to keep Bush Junior from getting the GOP nomination. I voted for Gore in the general, without enthusiasm, but at least I didn’t vote for Nader like a few million people I won’t mention.

Bush’s handlers were very upset about people crossing party lines to “make mischief” for Bush Junior in the primary.

wheelie June 9, 2008 at 2:01 pm

The two things that left a lasting impression on me after hearing McCain’s Big Speech last week were:

- his attack on Obama misfired and he came off weak and unconvincing;
- he trotted out some beef against big government spending programs that was hot stuff when Reagan
was doing it 44 years ago, but makes no sense in today’s context, when America’s defining issues are hardly related to vast government investment in jobs and welfare. Apart from its nostalgia value, is anyone seriously buying that argument now?

And I still smile when I visit his website and see his four tabs: Strategy, Decision Center,
General Election and Golf Gear.

Lionel Hutz Esq. June 9, 2008 at 2:20 pm

Wow, so Ken Layne is really the homeless child molester under the bridge near me, and not a Pope Cat. I’m shocked.

It’s all right Ken. I also crossed over and voted for McCain in the Primary in a hope to prevent Bush from becoming Dictator Tribune President. I also bought into McCain’s reform agenda until he decided to suck up to the likes of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robinson. Of course, I didn’t give him money….,

Lascauxcaveman June 9, 2008 at 2:56 pm

[re=11066]Ken Layne[/re]: Funny, that’s exactly why I voted for McCain in the 2000 primary, as a vote against Bush II. I guess we invented ‘operation chaos’ before ol’ Rush ever thought of it. [re=11126]Lionel Hutz Esq.[/re]:

Baiowulf June 9, 2008 at 3:16 pm

Wow, that picture almost makes you look like Paul Krugman. Still, it’s better than writing like him.

Lionel Hutz Esq. June 9, 2008 at 3:23 pm

[re=11181]Lascauxcaveman[/re]: There is a difference, at least on my part. Rush, no fan of democracy, wants to upset the system. I was voting in the hopes of getting the two best candidates on the ballot. It is a sign of how far the GOP has fallen that McCain, even after selling out most of what he believes in to run this year is still the best that the Republicans have to offer.

Obama does not represent blacks, rather the CFR and Bilderberg Group
