Palin’s attorney, Meowsey McDermmitt, Esq. commented “you gotta be kitten me!”

ManchuCandidate July 22, 2009 at 9:11 am

Fucking insomnia is leading to some confusion problems here. I read this as:
AIDS Patients walk towards John Thune’s office because he loves dead boys, but is the reason why concern trolls at the NYT feels Barry does too much to prod Pakistanis into killing the F-22 and Taliban militants with US Senators and illegal contributions to Sarah Palin’s defense fund.

I fucking hate daylight savings time. Fucking farmers.

John Thune: The steely gaze and firm jaw say wide stance in the airport men’s room. OTOH the hair hints of the page texting boybanger. Goddammit this guy is putting out mixed messages.

Mild Midwesterner July 22, 2009 at 9:28 am

Since Thune is relatively good looking for a senator, I’m gonna put my money on hookers.

MGBYG July 22, 2009 at 9:31 am

Still cun-fuuuzed ’bout Health Care, fuckers?

http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/07/21/lewis-black-hits-gop-for-demonizing-health-care-reform/

Otherwise, FOX Noise has made sure this country plebiscites as “going in the wrong direction”.

Sarah, Sarah, WHY-o-WHY are you linking to that festering heap of swamp mulch, aka The Fix? Link ban plz, kthxbye.

Monsieur Grumpe July 22, 2009 at 9:32 am

[re=367719]Mild Midwesterner[/re]:
I’m thinking Thune is addicted to huffing hairspray. We should set up a betting pool.

Studge July 22, 2009 at 9:32 am

PS- I meant Sara, Sara! So sorry, srsly.

Harold_Ignoramis July 22, 2009 at 9:41 am

Nothing bad ever comes out of South Dakota. Unless you count Indian massacres and corn fields.

Don Juanquete July 22, 2009 at 9:41 am

Loony Thunes hunts prairie dogs from a helicopter.

finallyhappy July 22, 2009 at 9:42 am

[re=367719]Mild Midwesterner[/re]: were you suggesting male hookers? Because female hookers are not going to be an issue to the GOP. Anyway, the guy is from South Dakota- I betting on animal love in his youth.

Marlowe July 22, 2009 at 9:44 am

Thune – does he live at the Love Shack on C Street??

If you can read this, I’m back from the Ban. Sometimes, begging works! Thanks, Ken.

John Thune to Christianity Today in 2005: “Washington is a town where there are a tremendous number of temptations[...]”

Yes, John, we know. Hope you’ve been good. If not, someone will drop the dime on you eventually…

Aloysius July 22, 2009 at 9:54 am

Palin used the word “hallmark,” but she wasn’t talking about greeting cards. Clearly, she’s gone back to statements prepared by handlers with 4-year university degrees.

binarian July 22, 2009 at 9:54 am

so maybe we should bring the drugs to the patients instead of the patients to the drugs.

True, true….always assuming the powers-that-be actually want them to survive…

wildeoats July 22, 2009 at 9:55 am

Sarah, in 140 characters or less, please explain how “frivolous” ethics violations could result in half a mill in legal fees. At $300 per hour, that’s almost 1700 hours of time, which is about 85 hours for each one of the 19 “frivolous” complaints. I get that it’s Alaska, and maybe the lawyers are not the savviest salmon in the stream, but it takes 2 solid 40 hour weeks of work to get rid of a frivolous complaint? wtf?

Terry July 22, 2009 at 10:02 am

Thune, Thune, what will be your downfall?

I’m thinking he’s a renaissance man and will combine a number of things. Let me shake up my scandal yatzee cup and see what falls out. Ok, a long term special relationship comes to light with a man, a deacon at his fundy mega-church, allegations of intimacy but no photos. Very Broke Back Mountain. This will be coupled with startling revelations about Thune’s ties to mining and agri-business lobbyists and the donations/perks he’s received. None of this is fatal yet to a Republican, though. Actually, it may be considered a plus in the GOP. His real downfall will be that he has actually read books, making him an elitist, and that he took a trip to Europe once, making him a socialist. Death blow right there.

Servo July 22, 2009 at 10:12 am

As I stated in a previous comment about this subject:
Fuck the Air Farce and their über-expensive toys with unproven technology! The Army, Navy, and Marine Corps have all lived off the crumbs left after the Air Farce grabs it’s undeserving share of the defense budget.
Now the table has finally turned. Get used to it, Air Shows-R-Us.

snoidoid July 22, 2009 at 10:32 am

You know, with all the Republican sex scandals, I am beginning to believe those surveys that say that Repubs have more sex than Dems. It might involve minors and animals, but it’s still more sex. Maybe I should switch parties …

AnnieGetYourFun July 22, 2009 at 10:55 am

Patty Murray, Our Lady of the Pork, is not pleased at all with the killing of the F22 program. I’m pretty torn, I guess. I did like the raptor, and this means that 90% of my neighbors are going to be laid off now.

donner_froh July 22, 2009 at 11:08 am

[re=367787]AnnieGetYourFun[/re]: Which means those 90% will now be like the other 90% of the country, laid off and looking for work in a jobless alkali desert of despair. (Metaphors by MixMaster)

karen July 22, 2009 at 11:16 am

Palin’s existence is a breach of ethics laws.

as.the.world.burns July 22, 2009 at 11:33 am

pretty awesome that all of the munnies donated to bible spice by her snowblind moran followers are gonna lead to her downfall.
and to think, that the sarahpac ad used to run RIGHT HERE on this esteemed website….

azw88 July 22, 2009 at 11:47 am

Pat Buchanan says he’s not a racist and proves it by say a whole bunch of racists shit, so it is logical that Palin should try to PROVE she didn’t violate ethics laws by violating the laws!
Gotta love that good ol’ republican logic!

Redhead July 22, 2009 at 12:06 pm

[re=367729]Paul Tardy[/re]: Wasn’t someone JUST asking for a troll to play with the other day? I think you got your wish…

Native of SL UT July 22, 2009 at 12:10 pm

[re=367825]as.the.world.burns[/re]: And since neither she or her attorney has “received a penny from this fund”, this is also a great scam to sucker money away from Palin fans that can’t actually help her without causing an ethics violation.
I am therefore announcing my new Dick Cheney legal fund. I’m off to Free Republic to look for donations. Bye.

hobospacejunkie July 22, 2009 at 12:23 pm

[re=367709]ManchuCandidate[/re]: The concern trolls are coming out of the woodwork like termites. Oh no, Obama isn’t quite as wildly popular as he was! Obama’s in a slump! Polls still show a large majority of Americans want health care reform but this could be Obama’s Waterloo! Concern trolls everywhere are concerned.

dedalus July 22, 2009 at 12:31 pm

I had an ex who was always “fighting back” against everyone and everything. Not a pretty picture, no matter how fuckable the package.

Why it is again that Todd Palin is always in far away oil fields, or snowmobile races, or dog mushing contests, or anywhere but home?

Oh, that’s right. To preserve the sanctity of his marriage.

gurukalehuru July 22, 2009 at 12:32 pm

“Two bills with questionable public support.” The New York Times is just cold making shit up. Again.
