Is it all a dream?
Republican front-runner Go Ron Paul has endorsed Nancy Pelosi’s opponent in California! Did you know Nancy Pelosi had an opponent in California? It is apparently true. There have been other opponents, too, but none of them had the magic 19-sided-dice power of Doctor Paul. Good-bye, Mrs. So-Called Speaker of the House!

Ron Paul
John Dennis

Are Republicans just running people with 2 first names?

Prommie March 5, 2010 at 11:39 am

Soon huge gatherings of up to a dozen unemployed aspergery engineers will make their fucktarded presence known in nancy’s district, or, more likely, in rallies fucktardedly held outside nancy’s district, and attended only by non-residents of nancy’s district, and disability checks will be squandered on tri-corned hats and poster materials used to create mis-spelled posters denouncing evil government and praising Liberty, for this is what an endorsement from Ron Paul can bring to an election. You know, retards, fucking narcissistic personality disordered libertarian retards.

JMP March 5, 2010 at 11:43 am

Dr. Paul’s looking a bit more orange than usual in that pick. Has Boehner been letting him borrow his spray-tan cans?

freakishlystrong March 5, 2010 at 11:43 am

He is “Liberty Minded” read; batshit insane. Actually, read Prommies post.

gurukalehuru March 5, 2010 at 11:44 am

As I said the other day about Harry Reid, perhaps the loss of Nancy Pelosi would not be a bad thing for the Democratic party.

WarandG: You wanted a douchebaggy post, you gets a douchebaggy post. And a minty fresh one too, also.

jetjaguar March 5, 2010 at 11:46 am

But will he protect us from the British?

Tommmcatt March 5, 2010 at 11:47 am

It’s “20-Sided-Dice”, Ken. Yeesh, it’s like you never played D&D.

Mr Blifil March 5, 2010 at 11:52 am

This is what you get for wearing Dalmation-puppy fur coats.

dijetlo March 5, 2010 at 11:52 am

His political head will look very attractive mounted right beside the plaque that reads “Madame Speaker” in the well of the congress. Since she’s “Cruella Deville”, perhaps she’ll gavel in the 2011 session wearing his skin as a turban?

Dorje Chenpo March 5, 2010 at 11:57 am

Pffft. Even a hunky former centerfold Republican with a butch pickup truck couldn’t win here.

Maybe if he got Ru Paul’s endorsement.

V572625694 March 5, 2010 at 12:00 pm

[re=525282]Prommie[/re]: Remember: a libertarian is just a Republican with mirrored sunglasses. And a narcissistic asshole, usually, also.

proudgrampa March 5, 2010 at 12:00 pm

[re=525288]gurukalehuru[/re]: While I agree with you, Nancy has about as much chance of losing her congressional seat as a snowflake has of surviving hell.

JMP March 5, 2010 at 12:02 pm

[re=525295]Tommmcatt[/re]: I figured Ken was just nerdbaiting us with that line.

[re=525304]Dorje Chenpo[/re]: Maybe not a truck; but what if Dennis were to travel ‘Frisco in a blimp?

SayItWithWookies March 5, 2010 at 12:16 pm

[re=525281]Monsieur Grumpe[/re]: Of course — that’s why Scott Brown got the nomination from Mass. He was named after that illustrious civil rights leader, Brown V. BoardofEducation. Ever since that great Republican Martin Luther King, we’ve known that the GOP is the party of equal opportunity.

Berkeley Bear March 5, 2010 at 12:18 pm

Since Nancy’s district is mainly San Francisco, this dude would be much better off getting Elton John’s (or at least that closeted, drunk GOP state senator’s) endorsement. This guy can’t even pull a Scott Brown and show up naked to try and win votes – the queens would destroy his flabby but.

SF has a non-partisan mayor’s race because no one can win if they call themselves a Republican by the way. Even an anti-homeless, anti-services tax cutter called himself a Democrat here and showered with other men (Frank Jordan), although he claimed the last part was just a “radio stunt.”

Simba B March 5, 2010 at 12:19 pm

Man, you wanna know how relevant Wesley Snipes is these days? This little bit of Wiki vandalism has stood for over four hours.

SmutBoffin March 5, 2010 at 12:19 pm

[re=525282]Prommie[/re]: Jesus, Ron Paul was one of the reasons why 2008 sucked so hard. Not really Paul specifically; the guy is just an benign-ish oldster with an undistinguished congressional record. But everywhere EVERYWHERE! you went on the U.S. internets was either crawling with Paul supporters or redolent with their pseudo-constitutional dung.

queeraselvis v 2.0 March 5, 2010 at 12:22 pm

[re=525304]Dorje Chenpo[/re]: Hmmm. Scanning his campaign’s website, Dennis certainly has the gayface (and ambigiously-gender-named daughter “Devan”) to present a reasonable challenge. But even so… he is doomed to fail. Epically, as well.

GOPCrusher March 5, 2010 at 12:26 pm

This can only end even worse for poor John Dennis.
But at least he’ll get a spiffy new tinfoil hat out of it.

Lionel Hutz Esq. March 5, 2010 at 12:44 pm

[re=525308]JMP[/re]: There is something about the thought of San Francisco being attacked by large, rubber covered cylinders that seems a bit clichéd.

One Yield Regular March 5, 2010 at 12:47 pm

“Endorses.” Is THAT what they’re calling it these days?

Extemporanus March 5, 2010 at 1:11 pm

[re=525340]Lionel Hutz Esq.[/re]: But if Nancy were to campaign with one of Vancouver’s giant used beavers, the race just might get interesting.

(At least to the breeders, that is.)

Georgia Burning March 5, 2010 at 1:11 pm

The no-tie/red lanyard look, always perfect for a corporate IT executive mixer at the Marriott. Looking like a convention go-er is enough to make you totally ignored in SF except by cab drivers. Expect John or Dennis or whatever he calls himself to do most of his fundraising in So Cal, get a resounding 15% of the vote in Pelosi’s district; then run for some meaningless but well paid state-wide office.

Tundra Grifter March 5, 2010 at 1:18 pm

[re=525317]Berkeley Bear[/re]: In California, political races below Secretary of State are non-partisan. That’s why the San Francisco Mayoral race doesn’t include parties. Other than the cool victory party, of course…

Tundra Grifter March 5, 2010 at 1:20 pm

“…high profile endorsements across the political spectrum.” That would be a spectrum ranging from far, far right to fucking goofy.

Did Mr. Paul write Mr. Dennis a check – a true political endorsement – or did he just wish him “Good luck with that!”?

Magnus Maximus March 5, 2010 at 1:22 pm

Let me consult my dungeon master’s guide…

“To defeat the Pelosi-Beast, you must roll a 19 on a 19-sided die.”

Not easy, but possible!

BerkeleyFarm March 5, 2010 at 1:40 pm

*snork* It’s always interesting to see what the Republicans scrape up to run against La Pelosi. I live across the bay in CA-9, which is even more lefty, and it’s entertaining there.

CA-8 does have its share of technolibertarian Paulisti, so dude might break 20%.

Otto Reimer March 5, 2010 at 2:05 pm

So Blood Blued Crueli, who uses the gayz worse than Madonna, is being challenged by a b-rate technolibertarian, and we should care why? I doubt their votes would be that different.

I just think it’s funny Demotards will line up behind a lady who eats babies with a side mint jelly while wearing dead puppies in the name of Progress for Progressives.

Not that it matters, San Fran is due for its quake this summer so this will seem so silly when Castro is in flames, and not from the flaming queens.

[re=525282]Prommie[/re]: Better than shooting up subway stations at the Pentagon.

mcc March 5, 2010 at 2:42 pm

So– some perspective.

In 2008, Nancy Pelosi won reelection with 72% of the vote. That’s not the interesting part.

The interesting part is that the candidate in second place was *CINDY SHEEHAN*. With 16% of the vote.

The GOP candidate came in third, with nine and a half percent.

So the interesting question here is not whether the Ron Paul can beat Pelosi. Rather the race is on for whether the Ron Paul person can beat the Green Party candidate.

Allyson March 5, 2010 at 5:01 pm

When I saw the photo, I thought the story was going to be that Ron Paul was coming out…and don’t they make a cute couple?
What? Dude on the left is running against Nancy? Meh, the People’s Republic of San Francisco will be amused for five minutes.

MarSF March 5, 2010 at 7:29 pm

[re=525397]Otto Reimer[/re]: We all eat babies here in San Francisco and we have a fucking great time doing it because we are Godless Heathens. And the Castro happens to be on bedrock so teh Gayz are gonna be FINE, asshat.

Vivaldi78 March 5, 2010 at 8:01 pm

Ron Paul endorses gay marriage, wants to abolish income tax, bring our troops home(he got most donations from active military than any other candidate) decriminalize drugs, abolish the CIA , FBI NSA, Kill the patriot act, support organic farms, balnce the budget etc etc. Those dark twisted uninformed freaks like pommie are CIA plants using psyops to dissuade and spread false info, if not CIA then just a f***ing moron. I have seen not one hard backed claim of any of ronnpauls platforms on this post exhibiting to me that it’s purely prepubescent rhetoric that supports nothing.

S.Luggo March 6, 2010 at 1:57 am

[re=525774]Vivaldi78[/re]:
- Paul is anti-Choice and is in favor of a federal law (or a Constitutional amendment) banning abortion. So, out the door with libertarianism and states’ rights, you hypocrite.
- Proposes abolition of the graduated income tax (in which those with less income — and who are more likely to be living on the edge — pay a smaller proportion of their income in tax than those with more income and more of a cushion) in favor a flat tax, which certainly favors the rich, including those who live on dividends and interest from inherited money.
— Wants the Dept. of HHS (which has within it the FDA and the CDC) to be dumped. If that happened, the pharma companies would rule and no one would be left to say whether a drug is good or bad.
— Wants the Department of Housing and Urban Development abolished because, shit, anyone can move out the suburbs.
– Etc.
He has no care for the pratical or day-to-day consequences of his positions.
Quel asshole.

I live in SF and was one of the 16% who voted for Sheehan last time around. Loved her protest shanty staged in front of Pelosi’s gargantuan palace in Pac Heights. Pelosi is so fucking insensitive to what a craphole SF has become to live in, I actually thought about voting for the Repubtard interior designer or whatever ran against her last time.

villageatrois March 8, 2010 at 2:39 am

[re=525288]gurukalehuru[/re]: “the loss of Nancy Pelosi would not be a bad thing for the Democratic party”

She’s gonna hafta answer for: no National healthcare and her failure to work for single payer; Gitmo and torture still going on; wars continuing in Afghanistan and Iraq; lethally unbalanced budget; gazillions of back-up to bankers who closed lines of credit to normal folk; zillions spent on stimulus which resulted in even higher unemployment; rising foreclosures despite programs to re-negotiate mortgages; and etc.

In my unbalanced mind, Nancy’s failures can’t possibly be compensated by support for gay people and taking on the century-old cause of other countries’ extinction of Armenians. But then, I don’t live in SF. Do like the seafood and sourdough bread and Victorian houses.

Julia R March 8, 2010 at 10:17 pm

I can’t understand what you see in Pelosi, forget who ever is running against her even a dog would be better than the plastic faced, liar..she has ambitions of taking over Obamas job..she is an arm twisting socialist dictator..beware what you ask for..that’s all I have to say!!

Julia R March 8, 2010 at 10:20 pm

Just say no…she has to go..!

repub1 May 25, 2010 at 1:42 pm

Pelosi has to go, but John Dennis is not the only option that San Francisco has to offer. John does a good job of not mentioning his 911 truther and antiwar ties. JohnDennisExposed.com
Check it out and see what John Dennis really supports.
