Alex Jones Mimes Shooting Robert Mueller, Facebook Very Chill About That

During his show Monday, Alex Jones went on a big ol' Alex Jones rant about special counsel Robert Mueller -- whom he claims either raped children while people watched, or facilitated that rape -- and then proceeded to "shoot him" with an invisible gun.
Transcript via Media Matters:
That's the thing, is like, once it's [special counsel Robert] Mueller, everyone's so scared of Mueller, they'd let Mueller rape kids in front of people, which he did. I mean, Mueller covered up for a decade for [Jeffrey] Epstein kidnapping kids, flying them on sex planes, some kids as young as seven years old reportedly, with big perverts raping them to frame people. I mean, Mueller is a monster, man. God, imagine -- he's even above the pedophiles, though. The word is he doesn't have sex with kids, he just controls it all. Can you imagine being a monster like that? God.
People say, "Well, God, aren't you scared of him?" I'm scared of not manning up. I'm constantly in fear that I'm not being a real man, and I'm not doing what it takes, and I'm not telling the truth. And so, call it whatever you want, I look at that guy, and he's a sack of crap. That's a demon I will take down, or I'll die trying. So that's it. It's going to happen, we're going to walk out in the square, politically, at high noon, and he's going to find out whether he makes a move man, make the move first, and then it's going to happen. It's not a joke. It's not a game. It's the real world. Politically. You're going to get it, or I'm going to die trying, bitch. Get ready. We're going to bang heads. We're going to bang heads.
First of all -- how is that not libel? Why is he allowed to say shit like that?
I know it's just Alex Jones, and ha ha, he is an idiot, but for real, people need to start suing the ever-loving shit out of all these assholes doing this accusing people of being pedophiles shit. I want them all sued for every damn penny they have, and I want their lives made miserable over it. Let's see how excited they are to "open up the libel laws" after that.
Second, it seems like pretending to shoot someone you are accusing of being a secret pedophile ring leader might be considered a violent thing to do, and the kind of thing that might get you banned from social media for sharing.
Alas, Facebook would disagree.
Via Buzzfeed:
As the clip of Jones went viral Monday evening, multiple observers flagged it as a threat of violence, which would be a violation of Facebook's rules. But on Tuesday morning, a Facebook spokesperson told BuzzFeed News that Jones' comments did not violate the company's community standards as they were not a credible statement of intent to commit violence.
Now, do I think Alex Jones is actually going to go out and shoot Robert Mueller? No, I do not. But I'm gonna say that's a pretty clear incitement of violence there. Saying that someone rapes children and then talking about gunning him down "politically" and then miming shooting at them?
Given that we've already had the Pizzagate shooter, and Lane Davis, it is pretty clear that this shit can and does lead to vigilante violence. There's a guy out in Arizona right now who just got arrested for felony trespassing while trying to expose the secret pedophile ring he is convinced exists in the Arizona desert. People believe these things and they take them seriously -- and honestly, it's not surprising that they react this way. I mean, if you sincerely believe that these people are out there raping children, then you really might feel justified using violence.
It's rather curious that Facebook would not take this seriously, as I've seen people be banned for several days for things as innocuous as using the term "wypipo." (It means "white people," white people.) That's not OK, but miming shooting someone and accusing them of being a pedophile? Well, that's just as OK as denying that the Holocaust happened.
